Kellie, graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in performance. She was a recipient of the Donald Peart Memorial Award for Music, the Brian Stacey Memorial Trust Scholarship for Young Conductors and a placement in the Symphony Australia Young Conductor’s Programme.

Professional engagements include; keyboard player on the Sydney productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Turandot, keyboard/assistant conductor on Beauty and the Beast, pianist for The Three Divas, assistant conductor for The Mikado Australian/New Zealand tour, keyboard/associate musical director for Showboat, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, The Witches of Eastwick and Mel Brook’s The Producers. As musical director /conductor Annie Get Your Gun, Amici Forever at the Sydney Opera House, Die Fledermaus, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Respect for which she was also vocal arranger. She joined Wicked as musical director/conductor for the Australian premiere season in 2008, for which she won a Green Room Award, and continues as Australasian musical supervisor. More recently she was musical director/conductor for The Merry Widow, Doctor Zhivago, Legally Blonde, Grey Gardens, and Show Boat in addition to several seasons as musical supervisor in Seoul for both English and Korean language productions. Kellie is a Churchill Fellow (studies in musical direction of new works), sits on industry panels for the Helpmann Awards, the Australia Council for the development of new musicals, and on the board for the Rob Guest Endowment for the encouragement of young artists. She is currently resident musical supervisor for Once Australia.
