Anne-Maree McDonald's career in music and performance has spanned over forty years. Beginning as a young teenage singer/songwriter/pianist on national television shows, she moved to principal soprano at The Australian Opera in 1980 where she sang leading roles for ten years, many of which were recorded for video. She was privileged to appear alongside Dame Joan Sutherland on numerous occasions.

In 1990 she moved to the UK for the next ten year cycle where she sang in numerous concerts and recitals and took up advanced vocal studies with esteemed teachers in London and Italy. 

More recently Anne-Maree has extended her role into that of Music Director/Conductor in musicals and concerts (Floyd Collins, Jekyll and Hyde, Shout-The Legend of the Wild One, Tell Me On A Sunday, Hats Off!, Light The Night). 

Anne-Maree, together with Stuart Maunder runs Meredith Shaw Pty Ltd a small production company for unique concerts (Floyd Collins, The Sound Of Rodgers, Mad About Coward).

In addition she currently has songs (which she co-wrote and recorded with Bianca Moon) playing on The Bold And The Beautiful. 

Anne-Maree is also a passionate teacher of singing and performance, in both classical and music theatre fields, and is an enthusiastic advocate of emerging performers and writers.
